Step 1: Application
NEW Application forms are due on or before February 24, 2017.
Early Bird Registration deadline for returning students: March 2, 2017.
Student applications must include the following to be considered for admission:
1. Student Proof of Citizenship (Birth Certificate / Landed Immigrant)
2. Parent Legal Residency Document (including parent’s legal documentation if indicated)
3. Pastor’s Authorization Form signed by your pastor
4. Application Fee (non-refundable)
5. Application Form completed in full
Step 2: Registration
Registration packages are mailed to applicants once applications have been approved.
Please return completed registration forms and applicable fees to St. John Brebeuf Secondary School
Step 3: Selection Process
St. John Brebeuf is a member of the Catholic Independent Schools of the Vancouver Archdiocese. Individuals who submit their application to the school on or before the application deadline date will be evaluated on the following basis:
Priority 1: Students currently enrolled here who have met the application requirements.Priority 2: Catholic students of practicing Catholic families who belong to one of our six regional parishes. In order for your child to be considered as being member of a particular parish, your family must:
•Be registered in that parish
•Regularly attend Mass at that parish
•Use Sunday envelopes (no amount specified) from that parish on a regular basis
•Participate in the work activities required of you by that parish
Priority 3: Catholic students of practicing Catholic families who belong to a non-regional parish which does not have a regional secondary school.Priority 4: Siblings of those in #3.Priority 5: Catholic students of practicing Catholic families in parishes other than as stated in #3.Priority 6: Siblings of those in #5.Priority 7: All other students regardless of religious denomination with or without Pastor’s Authorization for admission.
Priority 1-6 require written authorization from your Parish Priest for admission
