Saint John Brebeuf Annual Fundraising Dinner and Dance:
Bavarian Dance Night
Put on your lederhosen or dirndl and join us in having a great time fundraising for our students!
Saturday, April 28, 2012 at St. Ann’s Parish Hall in Abbotsford.
Tickets: $30 each, $50 per couple or $20 for alumni and are available from the school office.
This dance will include great food, entertaining music, dancing and a live and silent auction.
All good and services for the auction are donated and we are asking that every family consider making a donation of at least one item or to find someone or some business who will donate an item for our school dance. A small effort by everyone will make a big difference to our children!
St. John Brebeuf is committed to providing excellent academic and faith development to our students while striving to keep our tuition rates affordable and preserving the diversity of our student body.
Catholic Independent schools receive only 50% government funding and therefore fundraising becomes a necessary reality in order to keep our school and its programs running and to maintain a high quality of Catholic education.
Our Fundraising Committee has been working hard to organize fundraising events that are enjoyable community building activities.
The major fundraising events for the 2011-2012 school year are
Drive a Ford Test Drive Event
Friday, September 23, 2011, St. John Brebeuf High School Parking Lot
Thank you to those who took the time out of their busy schedules to come to the school and test drive a brand new Ford Vehicle. We would also like to thank Ford Canada for providing a fun, entertaining and community-building activity to raise funds for our students.
Annual Dinner and Dance
Saturday, April 28, 2012: St. Ann’s Parish Hall, Abbotsford
Saint John Brebeuf High School invites you to a fun and entertaining evening to dance the night away. This adult only event will include a delicious dinner, games, entertainment and a silent auction.
We are asking for your support during these events through attendance, pledges, prize donations, and word of mouth about the events to alumni or people outside of the school.
We recognize that many of our families are already making tough, financial sacrifices so that their children can have a Catholic education. Therefore, we strive to coordinate and prioritize all fund raising efforts. Fund raising is one way of making our school the best it can be for our students now and for generations to come. Anything you can do to support St. John Brebeuf, with your time, talent, and prayer is always appreciated.
Question and comments about fund raising at St. John Brebeuf can be directed to Dianne Wynker (wynker19@telus.net)
